What makes link as well as what makes sense appears bit by bit, as this diversity exhibits itself progressively under the form taken by its existence: a process of research and creation that mixes these two practices and let the one feed the other.
If the representation process traditionally aims at the embodiment and the concretization of an idea already known and thought before the realization, kom.post seems to works in the opposite side. As a “stage for presentations”, it invites each singularity involved, to let her experiment the specificity of her way to work, confronting it with the others who can be part of the artists but also of the audience. Indeed, here, the spectator is able to meet the process in different moments of its growth (the global as well as the local) and becomes integrated into it since the form of kom.post always changes depending on the “CONTEXT”, this element that makes the TEXT more and more today, that makes this new kind of writing done with multiple stratums and that may appear as really representative of our time…our generation?

What makes link as well as what makes sense appears bit by bit, as this diversity exhibits itself progressively, under the form that is the most suitable for it: the online.
By this mix of formats and languages (video, text, photo, sound…) done in an “horizontal” system without hierarchy, this internet aid creates an appropriate connection with the contemporary “discourse”, with the act of expression and of reception in which, today, the speech builds itself little by little and thanks to the involvement of each one. By the way, it opens a space of “participation in different degrees” where one can choose to create a work, to read it only, to connect it with an other work that each user can also invent and propose as a real creation that may take place in this dispositive of contribution.

It is not a question of a theoretical need for nomination, categorization or REPRESENTATION of what we are today (in artistic terms but also in anthropological, social or politic ones) that we could find under a concept as the one of “romanticism”, “impressionism” , or “surrealism”. At the contrary, it’s a question of asserting that our “today” can’t stay anymore in such a conceptual frame, that its modality of existence is not the one of the unique or the simple but the one of the multiple, the foliate, the stratified.
It’s a question of asserting it positively, not complaining it as a sign of this “post post post…modern” confusion but exhibiting it with this new collection of speeches and many gestures who, themselves, do the choice of such a multiplicity and complexity of writing, of expression, of working. It is a question of taking this support as if it is a language: let it speak TOTALLY as well as PARTLY by opening a free road for all these different words that inhabit it, animate it and make of this support a moving cartography at the moment where they are, each of them in their own, the beginning of a coming world to discover.

Game of the punctual and the network: this is really a new language that can appear here.

CentQuatRevue n°2 orchestrated and composed by these 26 eyes pair of kom.post will gather, progressively, a collection of strongly contemporaneous gestures that will encounter the ones with the others but also with the very different readers in order to cause this experiment of a meaning production, of a significance that appears progressively and that will be non only thought but really practiced here.Facebook facebook

The research mingles with the creation, the platform of thoughts and exchanges makes part of the production (artistic as well as theoretic) and is even necessary to this creation if we really want to think it (the magazine on line) as a form of our present that can say something, thanks to its multiple language, of the “how one says (himself) today?”

If we don’t speak, don’t listen anymore the strong and unified discourses proper to the time of “Ideologies” replaced today by the time of “logos/languages for little ideas”, nevertheless we still have –maybe more than ever if we trust the proliferation of communication tools that let you reachable everywhere at any time- an evident need of dialogue and expression.

And it may be in this choice that we are making to be really next to this need, to its special development visible in these new media of communication and data exchanges etc…, it may be here that we could notice a kind of “poetics of our time”?

To communicate at this scale of a European collective, kom.post has always worked under a principle of “distant-present”, maintained in a perfect alternation. The exchanges through emails as well as the virtual presences of some of the members, feed the actuality of the physical gathering organized in Berlin, and vice versa. In this new space of the magazine on line, kom.post extended this double existence by adding to the official website, its “contributive back stages” that are at work today on these different “surfaces communautaires ». He wants to use them as a real creative ground where he can collect very different speeches and beginning of works in order to integrate them in the magazine, to make it with those who normally are thought in front.

What sort of language, of writing, these infinite ways of expression (by words, sounds, picture…) and all their new continuation in these “contributive grafts” will let appear?
For the moment we are just able to start the process and to observe, at the end as in the middle, what will settle in our evanescent pages and our impressed spirits.
